CBET assessments for a TVET unit, generated from your curriculum

Upload a unit curriculum and get the three continuous assessments a CBET term needs — written, oral or practical — with marking schemes, observation checklists, a Table of Specification and an Assessment Plan already written.

KES 100 per unit — One credit covers the whole pack for a unit. Paid by M-Pesa, no subscription, and credits never expire. Real finished samples are on the demo page if you want to see the output first.

How it works

1. Exam details

Course, unit code and title, level and institution — and the assessment mode: written and practical, oral and practical, written only, practical only, or oral only. Written only is there for units with no practical outcomes, such as Communication or Entrepreneurship.

2. Upload your curriculum

Attach the unit curriculum. If you also upload the official performance-criteria weighting document, the marks come from the CDACC table exactly instead of the 50 / 50 / 100 term sequence (or the totals you set).

3. Preview and pay

The order summary names what is about to be built, the mark mode and the price, before you spend a credit.

4. Download

Editable Word files, unwatermarked. Past packs stay in "My Formative Assessments".

What you get

Three continuous assessments

Early, middle and late in the term — never fewer and never more. Assessment 1 covers the elements taught first, and so on. Small units are split within an element to reach three; large units combine elements down to three.

Marking schemes

Model answers and award points for every question, cross-referenced to the performance criteria.

Observation checklists

For practical work: marks available and obtained per criterion, with a Competent / Not Yet Competent box on each row.

Table of Specification

Marks per element across cognitive levels, with practical marks and percentage weight. It ships inside the pack — it is not a separate purchase.

Assessment Plan

Strategy, competence bands, the schedule and the coverage report. Also included in the pack.

The standard CDACC written shape

A paper of 100 marks or more has Section A compulsory and Section B answer a choice — for example three of four. A smaller paper is one numbered sequence.

Questions trainers ask

How are the marks decided when I upload no weighting document?

That is the default mode: the outcomes are assessed in curriculum order across the term, and each assessment is a standalone paper — by default assessment 1 out of 50, assessment 2 out of 50, and the end-of-unit assessment out of 100, which also revisits the heaviest earlier criteria. You can set your own total for each of the three on step 2. Upload the unit weighting document on step 2 and generate again to get the CDACC figures instead.

What if my weighting document does not match the unit?

It is rejected with an error rather than quietly ignored, so you are told instead of receiving the wrong marks.

Is this the same as a scheme of work or session plans?

No — those come from Professional Documents, which is a separate tool on the same account. This one produces assessments.

Is there a subscription?

No. InteligentCMS is pay-as-you-go credits in Kenyan shillings, bought with M-Pesa. Credits never expire and there is nothing to cancel.

Everything is a standard, fully editable Word, PDF or PowerPoint file — nothing is locked, and nothing is watermarked once you have paid.
